Antonio Carrillo
Holcim

Antonio is the Vice-President Sustainability at Holcim, the global leader in building materials and solutions headquartered in Switzerland. With 15 years of experience in a variety of roles at corporate and operational level, Antonio has held strategic roles as Group Head of Climate and Energy and Head ESG Reporting. For GCCA he is co-chair of working group 4 and chairs the GCCA CO2 Protocol Review under working group 6. Antonio also acts as a company representative for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and has been a member of the Science Based Target Initiative Technical Advisory Group from 2020 to 2022.

Renata Pollini
Holcim

Renata Pollini is the Head of Sustainable Construction & Nature at Holcim. She joined the company in November 2020. She led the development of Holcim's new Nature strategy, setting out measurable water and biodiversity targets for the company. She is an official member of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), represents Holcim at the Science Based Target Network (SBTN) and acts as Board Advisor of SUSTAIN project, Business for Nature and GreenBiz. Prior to this, Renata worked 10 years for Syngenta in various global, in-country operational and strategic positions. In her last role at Syngenta, Renata led the sustainability function in Brazil. Renata was born and raised in Brazil. She holds a Bachelor in Biology from the Federal University of São Carlos, a Master in Sustainable Development from University of Basel and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen.

Veronika Elfmarkova
Holcim

Veronika is a civil and materials engineer with experience in academia and industry with a focus on decarbonisation of the cement and concrete sector. She is now the Group Head of Commercial Ready-Mix at Holcim. Her specialisation is research and product development in cement, cementitious materials, including technologies such as alkali activated cementitious material, concrete and polymer technology. She is author/co-author of several publications, technical reports or conference proceedings, Member of the Institute of Concrete Technology, IOM3, Transforming Foundation Industries Challenge - Future Leaders Group and other industry bodies and technical committees.

Veronika is passionate about disrupting the cement and concrete sector to maximise and accelerate transition towards Net Zero within the construction industry and act on it rather than have it on paper. Her role includes driving innovation within the conservative construction sector.

Nabila Pranoto
Holcim

Nabila Pranoto is an architect, urbanist and sustainability specialist. As a Sustainable Construction Specialist at Holcim, her role is to help drive sustainability agenda within Holcim and foster cross-industry collaborations, promoting sustainability across the construction value chain. She holds a Master's in Urban and Territorial Design from ETH Zurich and EPFL, and a MArch degree from Singapore University of Technology and Design. Before joining Holcim, she had diverse experiences as an architect at WOHA Architects in Singapore and Balmond Studio in Sri Lanka.
